“ We tried their beef chops (₱380, had too much bell pepper, beef was tender but sauce lacks depth), Tonkatsu (₱430, savory and meat was juicy), Toki katsu curry (₱390), Gyuniku maki (₱330, big serving and delicious), and Strawberry shake (₱210, justifiable price for the serving) - with service charge (~8%). Staff was warm & accommodating. Love that they have bar area for solo diners. ”
“ We’ve dined at their Malate branch before, so we were excited to check out this newer location. First impression: great vibe—clean wood interiors, warm lantern lights, and an inviting sushi bar. There’s a PWD-friendly door, high chairs for kids, and even a restroom inside. They served complimentary hot tea, which was nice. But the drinks we ordered arrived after the food, which was a bit of a miss. Also, the AC could’ve been stronger—it was pretty warm inside. And yes… we spotted a tiny roach near the counter. Not ideal. What we ordered: Tamagoyaki – soft, fluffy, lightly sweet. A good start. Gyuniku Maki Roll – beautifully plated, not too much rice, generous toppings, and great balance of flavors. Fried Chicken Don – chicken cooked perfectly - crunchy outside, juicy inside. Generous serving. The miso soup on the side was flavorful too. Grilled Salmon (Shake Yaki) – cooked well but the portion was small and slightly under-seasoned. ”

“ house tea is superb, if im not mistaken it is roasted barley tea. the taste will bring you back to japan. next is the salmon sashimi, this is one of the freshest salmon, squeezed some lemon juice before dipping it to their soy sauce which is on the sweet and umami side instead of just salty. the sashimi is also served with pickled shallots and ginger that, not just a palate cleanser, but complimented the dish. Big california maki is humongous, it barely fits in my mouth again i dunked it in their soy, this time with their authentic wasabi. Main course is beef chopped steak which I partnered with beef fried rice. the steak is cooked perfectly, melts in your mouth, not just the meat but also the tendon. Its sauce is on the sweet, sour and umami side which again complimented the steak. The fried rice is greasy however the taste is magnificent. The wok hey is there, it is well seasoned and there are lots of beef pieces in the bowl (you can eat it on its own). Will definitely come back to try other dishes! ”
“ Everything was delicious, and the food came out quickly. My wife really enjoyed the udon she ordered it was filling and worth it. However, it seems like the serving sizes are a bit bigger at their Malate branch compared to the one here in Parqal, but the food was still really good. • Cold Soba with Tempura: 5/5 • Pork Udon Ramen: 5/5 • Tamagoyaki: 5/5 • Beef Maki: 5/5 • Yellow Mango Shake: 5/5 I’ll definitely come back since it’s closer to us and the food is delicious.
